Purpose and Scope
The Project Manager focuses on managing complex IT projects for on-premise infrastructure and cloud projects. The Project Manager must be able to work independently to resolve issues as needed. You will be responsible for assigning and coordinating team members, escalating issues as detected, and problem solving to deliver projects on time.
Responsibilities
- Allocating tasks to the project team and providing regular guidance to team members
- Manage projects that involve multiple vendors and complex integrations
- Defining the structure of a project, its goals, and resource requirements
- Create Project Plans for multiple projects
- Monitor project scope and status for multiple projects to ensure they are on track
- Coordinating with relevant stakeholders, both inside and outside the organization
- Report project status to all project stakeholders (customers and internal)
- Write and or review technical project documents for customers
- Identify project risks and issues and develop and execute mitigation plans
- Raising issues associated with a project with the project team, clients, and other interested parties
- Managing project risks, contingency and mitigation plans
