About Jason

Out of college, Jason grew up in corporate America, spending seven years at Golden West Financial / Wachovia. During this experience, he was promoted six times, culminating with his role as Mortgage Banking Director on the West Coast of Florida, at the age of 28. He earned several accolades, including being named a President’s Club Member and Employee of the Year. In 2009, Jason left corporate America to help build the greatest technology partner you have never heard of R2! While sales driven, he’s helped build a culture that focuses on things like, “Do Right By the Customer” and “We care about WHAT we sell and not just THAT we sell.”

About Joe

Joe Byrne is the Global CTO Advisor at AppDynamics where his focus is product strategy, evangelism, and customer success with full stack observability. Joe works closely with the Sales, Product, Marketing and Engineering teams in order to ensure customers are successful in their strategic approach to performance monitoring and also represent their needs to the AppD team.

Prior to joining AppDynamics, Joe was the Head of Engineering Services at Albertsons where he assisted in the introduction of agile development and led the first DevOps group where he used AppDynamics to help move customer facing applications to the public cloud and built out a CI/CD pipeline to allow for quick high-quality releases. Joe’s first experience with AppDynamics was as VP of Engineering at EllieMae where he led a team of 450+ engineers across 12 different products. He has also held leadership positions at Teachscape, Williams Sonoma and Johnson and Johnson where he led global development teams.

About Jason

Jason is an inspirational leader with over 20 years of international business experience. Jason is passionate about building high performing teams, developing talent and scaling businesses powered by successful customer partnerships. Jason is the Global Head of Solution & Adoption Engineering for ThousandEyes (part of Cisco). In this role he is responsible for leading a team of Engineers focused on helping customers accelerate their digital transformation initiatives by positioning solutions that help optimize the performance of the digital services that power their businesses. Jason frequently presents at industry events, conferences and executive briefings. Jason’s mantra is “There is Nothing More Important than Our Customers” and this is reflected in the dedication and outcome driven focus he and his team bring into every customer interaction. Prior to joining ThousandEyes Jason led the Solutions Engineering team for CA Technologies’ DevOps business which included solutions that helped customers accelerate their software development process and deliver innovations to market more quickly.
